Welcome to Eco n'Home

Eco n'Home was a pioneering initiative to monitor and reduce the energy consumption of over 850 sample households across Europe. Central to the project was the development and delivery of a new service for advising households on sustainable energy use in their dwelling and travel. The project was supported by the "Intelligent Energy Europe" programme of the European Commission.

The project took place over 36 months beginning in January 2006 and ending in December 2008. Energy experts from local and regional agencies in six European countries were involved, bringing together a wealth of experience and expertise in the sustainable energy and sustainable commmunity fields.

More detail on the service, how it was delivered and the partners can be found on this site - please read on...!
